Dr. Ron Dembo is the Founder and CEO of Zerofootprint, a company targeting massive positive social and behavioral change. Prior to Zerofootprint, Dr. Dembo was the Founder and CEO of Algorithmics Inc., growing it from a start-up to the world’s largest enterprise risk software company until it was sold to Fitch in 2005 and then IBM in 2012. Algorithmics was recognized as one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed companies during his tenure.
He had a distinguished 10-year academic career at Yale University.Dr. Dembo began his career as a Professor of Operations Research and Computer Science at Yale University. He sits on a number of boards and was honored as a lifetime Fields Institute Fellow for his contribution to Canadian Mathematics in 2007. Dr. Dembo has authored three books and over 60 scientific papers.

Former Chief Marketing Officer at Recyclebank; Director of Marketing at Nike & co-founder of Nau, a sustainable outdoor apparel company. Ian currently serves as a Senior Advisor to Purpose, who create 21st century movements, building mass digital participation designed to help solve some of the world’s biggest problems. Ian has extensive entrepreneurial and executive level leadership experience. He has been instrumental in building and stewarding highly successful brands that have defined and differentiated themselves based on their strong commitment to innovation and sustainability.
Prior to joining Zerofootprint, Justin held progressive sales & business development management roles implementing successful sales strategies and developing innovative business concepts in the healthcare, finance, and renewable energy sectors. He is currently completing his MBA, graduating fall 2014, having recently written a research paper “Marketing Healthy Lifestyle Choices”.
A seasoned change agent (formerly Director of Digital at Aveda Canada) that employs resourcefulness, experience and talent in innovative ways through his work as Director of all things Creative, Marketing and Communications at Zerofootprint.
